Final Averages Anders Solberg 9.65 Guido Keusters 7.71 Dexter Last 7.55 Zane Snow 6.14 Harvey Hedge 5.28 Logan Bremner 4.73 Shane Boulger 3.56
Well what can you say? After a roller coaster season, we initially thought we had been caught short, but due to track closure, are left celebrating.
Anders Solberg was invited to stay with the relegated side and lead us as an outright #1. This he did in spades, despite a couple of tracks not suited to his style. Hopefully will step up with the Logheads next season.
Guido Keusters went from a promising second string to full blown heat leader and proved to be a great signing from Cleator Moor.
Dexter Last hit a rough patch mid-season, but recovered and played an integral part in the Cup win. Will be looking to push on again next season.
Colin Browne had a poor start, but Zane Snow came in and did exactly what was need. A solid second string.
Harvey Hedge built on the loan spell at Ipswich last season and was managing to hit double figure scores by the end of the season. Tough call for management whether to let him out loan next season to develop as heat leader in the EL or struggle at reserve in the PL.
Logan Bremner had promised much with a short spell in Cleator Moor and was steady rather than spectacular.
Shane Boulger was signed to comply with the league requirement of previous season's JJ Individual. Gave Bremner a run for his money as the top reserve and was a great member of the team. We would recommend him to EL sides next season.
Other riders
Jens Rosencrans and Robert Mountford din't get a ride.
Vaclav Ruzucha spent the season on loan to Hull in the UL. Qualified for GP Challenge semi final and injured at World U21 after winning his first two races.
Hans Lehsmeyer spent the season on loan to Foxhall in the EL and won the league.

The final reserve place has been settled. Rhett Hodge joins from Lanarkshire in a full transfer. Thanks Charlie.
An able reserve in the UL in the past for MK and Wantage, expect him to clear up from the PL reserve berth.
One more space to fill.

Janne Sarjale returns, one of the bright lights as Logheads were relegated last time they were in the PL as a loanee from Wednesfield. Now back as a full time asset of the Logheads after a season in the top flight.

SIM SPEEDWAY 2018/19 - POWER LEAGUE PS1
A great way to shake out the cobwebs as Yorkshire beat Cumbria, despite neither team getting a home win and the opposing #1 bagging a max. If results keep like this, it will be close between promotion and relegation in this Division.

Workington made a promising start to the new season, entertaining Tweedside at the Derwent Bowl. With every rider paid for a win, the home supporters were sent home happy, Ruzucha wrapping up the victory after winning Heat 13.

06/11/2018 at HALAS OWEN - ATTENDANCE 1020
Workington won't be going the season unbeaten. Oh well, no great surprise there. Necrons had Mendoza and Ballantyne in great form. Keusters and Hodge struggled at the Halas Owen, but Logheads made tactical moves that kept the scoring tight.

When Workington turned down the possible friendly, we could not have dreamed that the rest would work out with our first away win of the season. If it hadn't been for the MOM performance by Zeljko Lesnik, Logheads could have won by a more comfortable margin.

Thanks to Kings Lynn for allowing the loan of Jason Hoskins to Workington. Unfortunately, Guido hasn't been able to replicate his home performances away from the Derwent Bowl, so is put out for loan or sale.

After many years of being embarrassed by Aberavon, Logheads finally got a win in style over the Gems. Sarjale was in excellent form from reserve and took the MOM Trophy. Ruzucha and Solberg led from the front. Workington hope to stay on the up.

Been looking through the all matches data and Logheads are sticking with the current septet. Guido is doing well on loan at Wandsworth, but our loaner, Jason, scores 3 or double figures and will keep his place for the run in. Janne was missed whilst injured and e hope he gets race fit soon. Chop Chop Workington!
