RICHIE SAMPSON ULRC FOR 2022
In the league the Gems were home to the Lions and in another close nail biting they won by 2 points
1. Kenni Algreen............. 2 2 3 1* 0 - 8+1 2. Curt Jensen............... 1* 1* 2* 1 - - 5+3 3. Richie Sampson............ 3 2 2* 3 2 - 12+1 4. Carl Nordahl.............. 1 1* 3 3 - - 8+1 5. The Gems went into heat 15 4 points ahead needing only a second place to gain the win, Kenni and Richie teamed up for this one. Kenni missed the gate and the lions paring managed to keep him at the back, Richie just managed to hold on to secong place in a thrilling encounter. Tobias Dahl had an off night scoring a blank.

Following defeat away to Kings Lynn last week the Gems returned home to face Wolston and our club captain Carsten Ostenstad. The Gems ran out 51-39 winners.
1. Kenni Algreen............. 3 2* 3 1 2* - 11+2 2. Curt Jensen............... 1 3 2 0 - - 6 3. Richie Sampson............ 2 3 3 3 3 - 14 4. Carl Nordahl.............. 0 0 3 - - - 3 5. Aleksander Jelen.......... 0 3 0 3 - - 6 6. Tobias Dahl............... 2 0 2 - - - 4 7. Laurie Campbell........... 0 2 1* 1 1 2* 7+2
Both Kenni Algreen and Richie Sampson were on top form supported by Curt Jensen and Laurie Campbell, Curt has done really well since moving up from reserve to ride at 2. Aleksander and Carl had off nights although when they did score they won.
On another note great to see Carl Price in the World under 21 final. Plus Kenni Algreen continues to lead in the GP Series.

Final week of the season and it's between us and Kings Lynn for the title. What a season it's been. We all the West Coast Arena wish Kings Lynn well (but not to much 😊) the season has been thrilling and very close between both sides and going into the final week both sides on level points, and both at home.
