In terms of the WTC this year I want to give the opportunity to managers to have some continuity. As such, I am giving you the chance to continue with your nation from last year if you wish. I have sent all of last year's participants a PM. If you wish to continue with your nations let me know in the next 24 hours. (Via PM) Beyond that, they'll be available to all other managers on a first come first served basis. If you would like to take the helm of a different nation, this thread will be available from 9pm tomorrow. Nation | Senior | Under 21 | Australia | David (Workington) | Paul (Bottesford) | Celtic Nations | John (Aberavon) | Rob (Kings Lynn) | Czech Republic | Craig (Wantage) | Craig (Wantage) | Denmark | Charlie (Lanarkshire) | Nicola (Hampden) | East Europe | Steve (Wednesfield) | Steve (Wednesfield) | England | Tom (Reading) | Stephen (Falmouth) | Finland/Norway | Terry (Chantry) | Terry (Chantry) | North America | Graeme (Teesside) | Terry (Newmarket) | Poland | Steve (Tunstall) | Steve (Tunstall) | Rest of World | Steven (Charlemont) | Sean (Milton Keynes) | Sweden | Derek (Tweedside) | Fred (EW) & Rob Jones (PK) | West Europe | Richard (Foxhall) | Andy (Sheffield) |

I will take North America but I would want the U21s too - maybe if Terry can switch to Finland/Norway Under-21s?

I think anyone who has a Senior team would like the Under 21's but we need to try and get more folk involved in it

You're more than welcome to the senior side, but I don't feel it's fair to expect someone to move in order for you to manage both sides.
One of the more unique aspects of the wtc is the opportunity to work with another manager. It's certainly something I've enjoyed when I've been involved on the management side. Last time I believe I was working with a manager pretty new to sim, there were many questions but I was more than happy to answer them, and we communicated well, especially in regard to the riders who overlapped between squads.
Ultimately if Terry would like to take up a different challenge elsewhere, now we know what's available, he, like any manager who's 'locked in' at last year's team can move. However I won't be expecting or forcing any move.
Ultimately we want as many people involved as possible, as such Sign ups will continue until Friday, at which point then, and only then, will solo managers with a nation have the opportunity to manage at both levels.
Until then every open slot is available.

Feel free to put me in any gap, if there is one, once everyone else has had a pick.
Andy.

How many managers are there in total? 40 club teams, but I, along with a few others run 2 teams.... I wonder what the number actually is??? Any why we can't this WTC filled by a different person. Likewise, if no one to have East Europe under 21, I will do both Steve

By virtue of some random numbers in excel, Fred and Andy have been allocated Sweden Under 21s and West Europe Under 21s respectively, and very shortly the tactics topics shall be available.

I believe all the double-ups are sorted, but will bear you in mind. (Managing both levels for a nation is generally easier, 2 under 21 sides would require communicating with 2 senior sides, and then also them potentially facing one another!)
