ALL MANAGERS
After the recent email and diaries sent to managers regarding the Junior 4TT event and especially lack of tactics, again I am very disappointed that only 12 managers responded to tactics out of 32.
The NSSPA be will putting out a post about next season and the viability of this competition, my sadness comes from the fact that some managers were badgering us for more competitions and youth to work with and shape their careers, despite us taking guidance to form this competition, they have been the ones not participating, at the other end of the spectrum coaching, over 1/2 the clubs have done nothing for their riders.

Yes it has been disappointing. Still I will finish the competition then we will be asking questions about the viability of the junior section. When these questions are put to you please answer honestly because if we are wasting our time with junior stuff we need to know.
Keep your eyes peeled.

Fred,Rob i myself like it to bring on my own riders is one of the things i like to do look at Canvey i have two riders Rhodri Szczygiel who was a complete junior when i had him and Charlie Noone whom i had from the JJ neither have been an over night success but they have got better and better every season for me and i hope it continues, and the latest one is Henry Valentine who looks very promising but thats all from me but i for one would like it to continue. Personaly I think teams should have to opt in to the JJ team comps - like the World Cup, I dont think it should be forced, I like it and and would take part, but I don't think the teams who clearly dont want to be in it, should be made to - those who do compete should perhaps get benefits, but then again if you have a youth team you will as you have your own youth assets, but again not everyone wants that. One overall division maybe? Or how about having 12 country sides? That would be interesting seeing me and Andy battle over who wants the mighty Yorkshire?

I agree in some respects that if that's what managers want, those who do not want involvement would lose the extra two racers. No point in them having riders if they are not going to work them to improve them. I would like to see the JJ continue as it is, because over the years most of us have had a rider who now has a career in Sim Leagues. Lets wait in anticipation of Rob's response and offerings. Fred

Good to see some immediate responses and thoughts. As I said earlier though I will throw it open for all to have their say once the junior competition is over.
