Please pass on my thanks
Small update from Andy.......
Well its day 2 at home and so far all is going good. Now 4 weeks of rest and taking things easy then about in 4-5 weeks time I should be getting a letter for me to start the chemo on my liver and lungs.
The Doctor said that the cancer in the kidney was a good type (if there is such a thing as a good cancer) because it allows me to have chemo; some cancers cells reject the chemo
The operation went OK.
The operation needed both keyhole and a cut to access the kidney and the cancer.
The bleeding has stopped and my blood will be replaced, I have had 2 units of blood given to me.
To stop clotting I have to inject myself once a day to thin out the blood.
Eating real food again is good, and plenty of water to drink.
Last night I woke up every 2 hours because that was the time the nurses woke me up to take blood pressure and temperature and heart rate.
