After the abysmal nature of this season Cats promoter Sean Wood has invested.
A modest outlay of just £6.39 saw Sean leaving Waterstones with a gleaming new thesaurus.
"I was running out of words to describe the dross that we are putting on this season. It's lamentable. There's only so many times you can say poor, rubbish and embarrassing. They just weren't cutting it anymore. We truly are plebeian this season. Everything that could go wrong, has, and this season has just been one calamity after another. Perhaps I haven't helped things with the revolving door, but i've been endlessly trying to move in the right direction. Our biggest problem this season was the loss of Olejnik alongside the abysmal form of Buck. There were no real replacements for him, and we made changes only for Malenkov to be dropped barely minutes later.
But the decisions have been made, I can't go back.
While this season has been an unmitigated disaster, and it truly has, this is a sport of ups and downs, and this is almost certainly our first down of our involvement in sim, so we mustn't lose sight of that.
Last week saw us win our first bonus point of the season, perhaps this bonus point will prove to be our shining light this year, coming off the back of yet another loss. Perhaps this exemplified our season though, we lost by a single point away from home. Robbed of a league point by mechanical issues.
This week sees us miss out on even competing in The Pairs, i'm presuming that Gundersson is ineligible for that also, and next week sees us host Blunsdon. Can we win? Possibly. Hopefully. Perhaps? We only lost by 2 at Blunsdon, so hopefully should a victory come, a bonus should follow.
Who knows though, as a wise man once said, life is a roller coaster, just got to ride it.
