It's worth emphasising that not being listed here doesn't mean anyone did a bad job! Some jobs were harder than others and in all honesty I'm struggling to spot where any manager made a decision that I could find fault with. I'd like to thank every manager for being brilliant and making this by far the best international break every - particulalry with 100% of tactics submitted on time which has never been done before. Thanks all :-)
Under 21 Manager of the Tournament
3rd - Terry Rigby who steered the Rest of the World side to the Raceoff, ahead of North America and Australia. Despite being without star man Fillippe Chong, called up by the seniors, the side performed above expectations and nobody could have asked much more from them.
2nd - Graeme Bailey took a Finland/Norway squad without an obvious star performer all the way to 3rd place overall, only a point away from claiming the silver medal. Riding well above expectations Graeme certainly got just about the best performances he could from the riders available.
1st - Craig Richardson led the unfacied Czech Republic side through the Raceoff and all the way to the title and was an obvious pick for the Manager of the Tournament award. Denied the services of the World U21 Champion by the Senior side he got quality performances from some virtually unknown riders and the team performances in the Raceoff and Final were simply outstanding.
Press Association Under 21 Manager of the Tournament (managers ranked by the press on their selection choices)
3rd - Steve Mitchell (West Europe). Press rating 9.83 out of 10.
2nd - Guy Bailey (North America). Press rating 9.98 out of 10.
1st - Graemey Bailey (Finland/Norway). Press rating 9.99 out of 10. Won this one by the narrowest of margins, the deciding factor coming down to progress in the tournament and possibly a slightly stronger pick at reserve in the World Cup side.
Senior Manager of the Tournament
3rd - Steve Morgan will perhaps feel disappointed to have left with a silver medal for a second season running but the general feeling all-round is that the manager could be blamed in no way. Riding as favourites in a short competition is a thankless task and he very much retains the support of those in charge of the English national team after another strong showing.
2nd - Craig Richardson worked some magic with both the Senior and Under 21 Czech Republic sides and getting them to the final and so close to a medal is a magnificent achievement. It will be interesting to see what he does next and if the new generation of Czechs, led by Drahos, Janicek and Nemecek, can continue to improve and compete on the world stage.
1st - Graeme Bailey took charge of a strong squad who were certainly fancied to be strong contenders but to take them to a World Cup win in the way he did showed real quality. Always involved and with a clear idea of what his best side was this award is fully merited to add to the World Cup winners medal he now has.

3rd - Terry Rigby (Rest of World). Press rating of 9.97/10.
2nd - Graeme Bailey (Finland/Norway). Press rating 9.98/10.
1st - Steve Morgan (England). Press rating 10.00 out of 10. Perhaps had the advantage of managing some better known riders than others but the press believes a manager can do no better than picking their best side and that is what Steve did at every stage.
