The Whales after a turbulent time when we switched from the AL to EL after we had the good fortune to another manager buying into SIM.
After to viewing the early season results there are a lot of mysteries to solve.
PS1
Saw us start our season with identical (41-49) home and away defeats at the hands of London Jets, For the Jets Cervenka put in two god shifts, whilst Salkeld came good at the Megano. Jets loanee Airey showed his maturity wqith two good points returns.
For us Alex Van Maurik raced to a paid maximum at London, as Viv Thompson rekindled his love for the Megano, Michael Smith also picked up good points in his home coming.
PS2
Our first victory 48-42 over Westwood saw Chris Mullarkey in excellent form supported by VT, as Chres Neilsen battled hard for the Wizards.
The Wizards though overturned the deficit with a 50-40 victory in Kent. A superb showing from Swedish teenage sensation Linus Cedergren and Glen Harmison saw them home, as Thompson and Mullarkey held it together for the Whales.
PS 3
A long journey North to Thornaby and another heavy defeat 52-38, Mullarkey and Smith put in good showings, at the Megano the boys put in their best performance of the season with a 51-39 win with Van Maurik leading the way with the usual support from VT and Mullarkey.
Conclusion, we seem to be a little light in a couple of places, but will have to grin and bear it, Taylor and Templeton are pretty optimistic for the season ahead, we have a good base of riders and once we get a few bonding sessions we will be on our game for sure.
The local immigrant population are asking where our Romanian racer has gone, obviously Mr Gheorge is an AL rider and not quite good enough for the EL.
But Taylor gives up hope for them by saying "WATCH THIS SPACE"
SO HERE'S TO A NEW SEASON - GOOD LUCK ALL MANAGERS in 2016.
