After a PS 1 drubbing of Estuary home and away, and another away win at Falmouth but a shock defeat in the home meeting, a London Jets went into the KO Cup in high spirits. A good 6 point win at home to Hull set them up nicely, and extending that lead to 10 points after heat 4, had the Jets fans thinking it was their night. But then 4 5-1's against put the home side 4 points aggregate up going into heat 14. Airey and Cervenka got a 5-1 to take it to a last heat decider but a home 5-1 knocked London out the Cup. Alan Baylee added, "we look pretty good as a whole. Yes, we don't have a 9 point number 1, and Scott had a couple of average meetings in the Cup, but it's not about 1 rider, it's about 7. I'm really pleased with the start Rytenen and Cervenka have made, so we move onto the league next week and look to get off to a good start at Sheffield
