The Whales showed better form and easily won the BP at promotion chasing Charlemont.
But tonight it was Van Maurik, Nobles and Smith who led the way as Thompson and Mullarkey found the going tough as Williams and Moursin supported by Zebec and Pullen saw the Chargers home, Moosz and Goycochea worked hard without many rewards.
But a point is better than none and some positives can be drawn from this very close encounter.

Falmouth came here on the back of a good run and our fans were wondering if we had enough fire power to halt the run, after a pre-meeting huddle in the centre green the riders put together a more newsworthy team performance as each rider chipped in with solid efforts.
Thompson and Mullarkey led the way, but determined riding from Smith, Van Maurik, Goycochea and Nobles gave us the edge, even Moosz came out in heat 2 to win from the front but failed to score hereafter.
Olle Nyman looks a class act as the emerging Kris Major and ex Whale Andy Lawson gave good support, Roux at reserve has had a good season, our good wishes go to Falmouth.

If you could have predicted a meeting, we would have taken this scoreline from the start, we did get a break in heat 2 when Moosz and Nobles raced to an unopposed 5-0 in heat 2, Blunsdon with Blanc his immaculate self raced to a paid maximum and he and Ferris rammed a 5-1 down our thorats in heat 15 to secure the victory.
A pretty sketchy nights scoring for the Whales where this meeting generated 8 x 5-1 scorelines to add to the 5-0, the Whales achieving 3 maximum heat wins.
