Improvement Made To The All Saints Stadium
Charlemont Chargers have invested heavily again this year in improving the facilites at their home in the Charlemont area of West Bromwich. The club has seen a big rise in attendance numbers after the clubs climb up the divisions into the Evolution league. One of the club requirments is to work closely with the local council to avoid any traffic issues at the stadium and now with almost a thousand fans turning up for meetings it was obvious more room was needed.
The club has decided to add another 200 car parking spaces at the stadium to stop the on the road parking around the area on race nights and have increased standing terracing by 500 to just give some extra room in the cramped grandstand. Standing areas have been added to turns 1 and 2 and the club are hoping that planning permission can be granted to increase the stadium capacity even more in the coming seasons.
The most important addition however is that the track has now been developed and improved. The track now sits at the NSSPA Exclence level and is one of the best ovals in the division and in Sim Speedway. The club are hoping that the better surface will provide better racing and therefore the more fans will flock to the All Saints to watch the Chargers. After meeting with club represenatives it is obvious that this club wants to reach the pinicale of the sport and is trying to do the hard graft now to prepare for the future. The club have only been around for a season and a bit but they know that if the off track issues are sorted then it make the on track issues more achieveable.

'We are making strides with the All Saints Stadium, the stadium facilites are all top drawer and we wanted to make our home a nice place to be for our fans. We have top notch facilites, the Bar, Food Outlets, Toilets, Club Shop and Sponser Lounge are all execlent and we do beleive this is why we are attracting so many fans. We beleive the price is right for the fans to come and watch speedway and its pay divident.'
'Now we have a track that is up to levels of other clubs in this division and beyond. Its a big track here at the All Saints, its a fast track with very long bends which provides us with great racing. Now its down to track curator Nigel Klingthorpe to hopefully keep it tip top and we will have some great meetings ahead.'
'We dont plan to stop there though, our riders have it a little rough here at the moment. The pits are a little tight the changing rooms are not plesent but the medical room is very tired. This season might be a stretch to improve these facilites but next year its our main priority and it will hopefully attract our riders to stay with us next year if they want to or we can bring in some more big names to our club'
