Change Made To Charlemont Septet
After media duties against Estaury Whales manager of Charlemont Chargers Steven Hunt had indicated that a change was imminent to the side after such a poor performance away from home.
Ewald Dirtl, a knock out cup winner last season has departed the club after his average slipped dramatically and he ended up in a reserve berth within the Chargers side. Dirtl has stuggled to push on this season and he has gone backwards in his development and it maybe down to the fact that changes in the league set up has contributed to his down fall.
The rider to replace him is Seppo Kiyisto from Euro League Two side Paris Panthers on a 4.03 average and exciting young rider who has excited fans of the Parisian side and will look to do the buisness in a reserve berth of the Charlemont Chargers.
Manager Comments
'It's not nice to let a rider go but we are trying to take this club to the top, it may not happen this year but we're building for next year already. Seppo joins on loan and if he performes well then there is a slot there for lined up for next year. It's always key for riders to know where they stand in the future and we have let the lad no that if he goes well he will be a priority for next year.'
'Ewald has stuggled in the EL it maybe a league to high for him at the current time but we would like to thank what he has done for the club and he will be remembered fondly as a great member of our first ever team in Sim Speedway.'
'We have a long way to go but I'm hoping that this break in fixtures will see us time to get some practise in and get us together as a team again and start that push for promotion, Ray France going into the main body is exciting as he has been our go to rider in recent weeks and it will now be down to Seppo and Zabec to take this extra rides and score those bonus points that win you matches'
