So the new season is upon us and we are looking to build on the success we had in out first season Massive changes have happened at Baythorne street over the last few months with a brand new track shop a new stadium announcer and centre green all relaid with grass and increased the size of the stadium and a brand new car park i think people will be pleasantly surprised of the progress we are making here.
On,the team front we believe we have put together a very exciting squad of riders this year led by the vastly experienced Scott Allen a brilliant rider and all round nice guy a big average but we believe it will be worth if as he has already said he will help help the younger members of the team to get the best out of there machinery and themselves.
Then on to our nest rider Richie Rawlins long term admirer of this rider very exciting rider to watch full of praise for our tight little track and cannot wait for the season to start.
Niall Lowriston Former JJ rider returns for his second full season with us made unspectacular but steady progress with us last season so hoping he can again build on what he has already achieved.
Onto Ross how a rider i have a lot of faith in a former JJ champion not had the best of luck since but we saw enough of him last season that he deserved a chance he has the tough number 2 spot we did want to use him as one of our reserves but with the team changes he is now in the team but he said he is up for it so fingers crossed.
Now we have Des Dixon a big favorite at East London it seems that he has been around forever but he is only 22 and i don't believe East London has seen the best of him yet with Canvey he topped the averages and that's what we are hoping for this season.
Now we have out two JJ riders first Lee McAuliffe a rider who looks like he has a big future in the sport and someone we are excited about having at East London he was very much the nearly man last season finishing 4th in both the north Midland Standings and in the JJ Grand Prix but just missing out had made him very determined to succeed so watch this space.
Finally we have our very own Dominic Rivers we were hoping he would be riding in the JJ this season but as i said earlier things have changed and he now finds himself in the team this has not phased him at all just shrugged his shoulders and said lets get on with it finished 7th overall in the South Standings but got better and better as the season went on culminating in beating both Noah Nicholson and Harry Coles in the last JJ grand Prix Final.
Although we are Affiliated with Canvey Island as i Stephen Hayes owns both clubs the renegades have also a committee that i am answerable to so the interests of East London are not compromised in any way and the club will always come first,So there you have it a team we are very proud to be associated with and a team we hope will bring further glory the the Renegades of east London hope to see you there.
Also we would like to Thank Andy Dixon for the help signing of lee McAuliffe for this season.
