After a long season, with more twists and turns than a Welsh B road, Tunstall walked away with the Runners Up medal, and manager Steve Donaldson couldn't be happier.
"We came to make sure we were noticed this season, and even after a pretty average start, we dug our heels in and made ourselves difficult to beat. In the end, we missed out on the title by a point, but in reality, we were never really challenging. I am just happy that the lads dug in and made a name for themselves. Our first season in the UL, and we have set our benchmark.
Now, we look to next season. It is going to be tough, because averages always dictate that riders have to be dropped, but I already have a few ideas in my head. The one thing I will be doing is talking with both Gabrys and Enzo before they head home to try and gauge their interest in returning, because I believe with a core of young riders in Henrik, Gabrys, Enzo, Josef and Pawel, we have the building blocks for a very good future."
