As the curtain closes on a debut season for the Falcons they can reflect on a season of mixed fortunes. Achieving cup glory has to be considered the highlight of the season, whilst an 8th place finish in the league was somewhat disappointing. It was a season of what could of been, with so many 44-46 away defeats it could of been a very different story but we'll learn from out mistakes this season and come back bigger and better next year.
Adam Burrows
Captain fantastic and rider of the year. Adam had a brilliant season and has very much established himself as the fans favourite. Kept us going when times where tough and will be in the side next season as long as he still wants to ride for us.
Theo Craven
Theo had a steady season, and after a stuttering start managed to pick up in the 2nd half of the season. Perhaps did not progress as much as he'd of liked but is an awesome talent and someone we'd be looking to take on a permanent basis next year if at all possible.
Kris Major
Close call for the rider of the year, Kris established himself as a top 3 AL rider this season. He also provided the inspiration for us to win the KO cup which made him a club hero. Another rider with full potential who we'll be signing next year baring a calamity.
Mitch Harrison
It was a crash course introduction for Mitch this year joining at the end of the year when other rider were already established. He held his own, showed promise and will be a very good rider on his average next year.
Shane Rumsey
Season of progression for the young Englishman who took the reserve berth by storm early on before putting in some decent performances as a second string. No doubt a rider on the up who will improve again next year.
Gerard Davies
Season to forget for the big man, brought him in on a steady 7.70 average and ended up below 5.00. Unfortunately probably a big reason why we struggled somewhat but will be on a bargain average next year and can only improve.
Donnie Reeves
Solid opening season from last years JJ champion. Sure he was looking to progress a little more but he has plenty of time. Really someone we are looking to bring through the club in future years as his style and ability on the bike is clear for all to see.
Craig Gooderham
Set the house on fire when he joined, and in hindsight we probably would not of let him go. A great prospect for the future, and one who we've love to see again at some point in the future.
Aiden Burke
Solid enough in his first meeting but with Leonoid leaving left a gap to bring a strong heatleader in. Burke was the one to suffer.
Leonid Zvorysin
Performed well in his first 6 matches but decided to go home after that point, will look at his progression in the euro leagues with much interest.
