Teesside finished the season in mid-table following a draw with Milton Keynes Cats at The Dock Yard.
The Transporters threatened to put up a bid for the league title with early season signing Hans Benkarth showing up well, but Teesside just failed to grab an away win - despite coming close on two or three occasions.
Team boss Graeme Bailey spoke to fans after the last match of the season and confirmed that he was already thinking of the team.
"We have a very good asset base - and in Hagan, Benkarth and Haagensen, we have three of the world's best young riders, and that is not a bad place to start.
"We can confirm that Benkarth will be a Transporter next season, we will turn his loan move into a permanent deal - that was a no-brainer really and to be honest Hagan and Haagensen will be too if all goes to plan and it is hard to see us letting Eugene Burkes going elsewhere, so subject to personal terms you have four riders at least already pencilled in. We are a loyal club, we have assets for a reason and we don't chop and change.
"Then we have Hans and Ole - and it seems we can't keep both but we will sit down with them to discuss options. We have plenty of options in our asset base. That also includes the likes of teenager Giles Hill, who has come through the ranks, and impressed hugely in the Academy League and we have Parizek who did not let himself down at Chantry.
"We are also looking at maybe changing the track a little, as I am not sure we have enough hometrack advantage. I really think we should have won the league this year. We were in great shape, we had four heat leaders at the end, and someone like Jonus Sandin at reserve - it feels a bit like a missed opportunity for us this season.
"We we strangely tipped to go down by some at the start but I knew we had some real potential but we just didnt quite push on when we had a chance."
