Well you now know the names but its time to give you a little background on your Vikings lineup or George and the Dragon as they have been dubbed in the press with four English and three Welsh riders in the side.
Ben Harris
First up we meet the Vikings captain who will lead to team from the number one birth this season. Ben is now 28 and the first of our Welsh trio. Ben signed from our very own asset pool and had no hesitation in putting pen to paper. Ben is hoping to lead the team to silverware.
Brynmor Johns
Riding at number two this season will be the second our Welsh lads. Brynmor is 20 and on loan this season from Power league outfit Aberavon Gems and is hoping a drop down will give him the chance to gain his confidence again and score some good points . He will be riding with his good friend and former mentor Ben and hopefully there understanding will benefit the side.
Russ Julian
Russ is the first of our English quartet and again another Foxhall asset , the 20 year old had a few offers at the end of last season but wanted to see what developed with the new promotion and obviously liked what he has seen and heard as hes here to today in the green and blue of Foxhall.
Danny Dixey
Next up is Danny Dixey the 20 year old who many of you will know I signed during my time in charge of Estuary last season and he certainly didn't disgrace himself and will be hoping to stay clear of other peoples accidents that caused him to save periods out on the sidelines last season.
Noah Nicholson
In at number five we have the 18 year old Englishman Noah who joins us on loan from Tunstall Terriors in the Power League. Despite his year years he has a real mature head on his shoulders come race time and he will be one of the lads helping young Tyler settle in at reserve.
Russell Genz
In a number six and our first reserve is Foxhall asset Russell . This 19 year old Englishman is the joker in the pack and you never turn your back on him for one second and he will keep the spirits up in the locker room this year . But once on track he can be a real pocket rocket on his day.
Tyler Sweetman
Last but not least is young Tyler . This 17 year old is a former JJ rider on loan for Charlemont Chargers in the Evolution League and will be hoping to improve on his 3-00 average. He fitted in perfectly with our team building plans and I think he could well be one to watch this season.
So there you have your 2017 Vikings and hopefully we can look forward to a succesful season on track .
