Teesside have confirmed the signing of reigning British Under-18 Champion Lewie Carr, whilst also sorting out the immediate future of Giles Hill.
Carr is one of the top young European talents and Teesside are always looked out for those riders and they were able to strike a deal with Bottesford Bullets.
Carr will spend the rest of the season on-loan at Bottesford, whilst spending regular time at the Dock Yard, in and around the team.
Team boss Graeme Bailey said: "This is a big deal for us, we have manage to secure the signing of one of the best young British riders and adds to our talent pool and we hope he can continuing progressing this season.
"We have to thank Bottesford for the way they have dealt with the deal."
Bailey also confirmed that Giles Hill will be joining UL rivals Wednesfield Wanderers on-loan.
"To be honest we had offers from three leagues from half-a-dozen clubs and I had in mind to let him re-join our friends at Aberavon, who did a good job with him last year - after we realised we could not fit him in.
"But we had the offer from Wednesfield and after talks with them we have an agreement we are happy with."
