Teesside Transporters have confirmed the signing of Belgian ace Wout Ledereq.
The 22-year-old has agreed terms with Teesside after becoming a NSSPA asset after Stockport Shaleblasters folded.
The move sees Ledereq moving back to Teesside having started his career in England with former outfit Thornaby Thunder.
Ledereq will come in at reserve and team boss Graeme Bailey was delighted to land him.
"There were a number of options open to us, but Wout is someone we knew a lot about - when he was at Thornaby he impressed us and he has been very solid, and he improved last year. We think that with Daniel Lawson and the likes of Hans Bergestol and Luke Treadwell, someone like Wout can only improve and could come on leaps and bounds.
"He knows the area too, which is a big bonus - he has plenty of friends on Teesside and is back in his old garage space which is next to Jack and Eugene - we are chuffed to bits."
Bailey confirmed Hans E Bergestol - in his Testimonial season would lead the side with world champion Luke Treadwell acting as vice-captain.
