Wednesfield supremo Steve Morgan has certainly looked east in his team building with no fewer than 5 of his septet being from that part of the World. Morgan wasn't short of things to say when quizzed about his squad.... " I'm even more excited about this team than of last seasons, that's because of the riders and their potentials we have brought in. It was decided in the close that Boris and Mikhail Federenko were re-signing, but I really wanted Nikita back to form the spear in the head. Then when I had decided to take out our long serving skipper, Phil Hayes, I felt we needed to not go heat leader and re-sign Fekete, who was a revelation at reserve, but go mid term average wise, as I felt Mikhail would be really dangerous at reserve. You almost want not to go too top heavy, so you can get a 5 point average rider banging in points reserve. So that's what I did. We welcomed Ruman Dimitrov from Bulgaria and Sorin Draghu from Romania with open arms...." When asked who his key rider was this season, Morgan added, " all of them! They are all key.... But if I was pushed to name one, it would have to be Giles Hill. This kid has so much potential. He could be a real trump card. So we push on now, Press and Practice Tuesday, followed by 4 pre season fixtures, and 2 leg KO Cup against last years League Champions and we will see where everyone is at very shortly......"
