After considering several options it is as you were at The Glaven Arena. We have had an ok start to the season and sit third in the table so no need for panic changes at this stage. Having said that it might all change in a couple of weeks. A couple of riders have seen a drop in their averages including skipper David Bedford. He is experienced enough to sort out his problems and come back to top form. He has made it to both GP Finals this season so can't be far off.
My main concern is Kamil Ulabek who is now only averaging just above 3. This is a rider who looked to be on his way to the top qualifying for the GP semi-finals last season. He was meant to be our trump card.....well that hasn't worked! I will give him more time to turn his form around as replacing him will probably mean 2 changes.
Our other reserve, Shane Rumsey, has put half a point on his average so more than happy with his progress. Kenneth Krogh is averaging exactly 6.00 from the awkward number 2 spot. If he can keep that up he will be fine. Carsten Ostenstad has ridden to his average which is not bad for his first effort in the top flight. He will improve throughout the season I have no doubt.
Our 2 success stories are Tibor Nemecek and Ray France. Tibor is full of confidence and doesn't mind putting himself about a bit. He now averages over 9 and won the last GP. Ray has taken to the UL like a duck to water. He averages more than David. Level headed, feet on the ground, he is a superstar in the making, What else is there to say.
Let's see what the second part of the season brings.
