Teesside secured a last gasp 45-45 draw with King's Lynn - which means the UL title will go down to a final week shoot-out with Milton Keynes.
The Transporters looked like they had come up short, but a brilliant 5-1 in the final heat from the two Hans' - Bergestol and Benkarth have Teesside a 5-1 and the draw, and with the bonus point they are just two points behind MK's Cats - with them to come to the Dock Yard in the final week.
However, before that - the Cats are Teesside's opponents in the KO Cup final - so one of these sides could end up doing the League-Cup double - a feat not done since the Midlothian Panthers did it nearly a decade ago.
Team boss Graeme Bailey admits there is some mouthwatering action on its way: "Teesside is about to become the home of speedway, we have the KO Cup final, the Ironopolis and then the League decider - we are so excited, speaking to the lads and fans there are no nerves here, at the half-way stage we didnt think we had a chance of the title so to give ourselves this chance is a bonus.
"Obviously the change to put Hans at reserve has paid off, there are not many teams who have a reserve winning GPs but we have been fortunate with how things have gone but the lads as a unit have been superb - there is no such thing in speedway as a one man team, and everyone has contributed - just look at young Benkarth, he has been a bit down on confidence and power, but he turns in, for me, a Man of the Match display at King's Lynn.
"We can't wait to get into this, Milton Keynes are a top-class side, and coming up against them in these next three matches will be so exciting, we know we are the underdogs, we have been trailing all season but we have given ourselves a chance - and we are proud of that."
