Bottesford face a tough debut in the Ultimate League as they travel to long established Milton Keynes to face the Cats.
MK have been in the top flight for a while now and are a formidable opponent on paper. However speedway is ridden LIVE on tracks and the Bullets feel they cab travel with everything to gain.
GP racer, Ricky Arnutovich has ridden the Grovedale before and enjoys the surface there. "It's a big track with plenty of banking and dirt, with a few racing lines if you miss your start" Antunovich has ridden there for Wednesfield and Hampden Eagles and seems to go well there. " I have scored 11 on my last three visits and I want to score at least that, I'll be looking to help the lads with set ups and any bits of info in between races, I'm loving my role as skipper so far" said the Affable American from the Sunshine State.
Bottesford will have to travel without their new Italian signing Enzo Innacone who crashed out in their pre- season meeting. "Enzo is bit battered and will need a week or two to get over his high speed spill" said Team Boss Paul Duff. "It is a blow as he had started like a house on fire and he has scored well there for Wantage in the past" Innacone has scored 12+1 and 10+2 on previous visits.
"We have an excellent guest though, in Ray France" Duff added, "Ray is a fantastic racer and in red hot form himself after a cracking World Cup for England, he will do us proud and he's likely to line up at 3, with Petr Marko taking the 5 jacket. Henrijs has been banging in some laps at our place and hitting the gym and is looking sharper by the race. We have switched reserves as Colin has shown a good liking for the No.7 berth and it has also helped Will having a Heat leader with him more regularly. Michel Zwyssig will continue at 2 and he is also looking forward to the new campaign, desparate to push for a Heat Leader role."
"It's a tough opener but we go there to challenge them and push them to the wire"
Get to Milton Keynes and support the lads on their baptism in the UL
