As part of the deal which saw Hans E Bergestol return to Teesside Sheffield have acquired two new assets in Arlo Evaristo and Janek Bartousek.
Speaking about the newcomers young manager James Dixon said, "I'm really happy to have these two and we are starting to build a good team here now. I'm starting to get really excited about my first season as a manager. Both had a good season in the Power League with Teesside and should be able to score well in the new Evolution League. The pair join as assets but I suspect they'll be moving up the divisions pretty quickly as they have the ability to go to the top in the next few years.
Arlo has been a consistent improver for a few years and I'm sure he can make another step forward as part of the fantastic see up we've put together here. Janek is an outstanding talent. What he did last season in the PL at just 15 years of age was unbelievable and he looks a real star of the future. It's a real coup to have him on a full transfer and our coaches are eager to start working with him. I can't see a better 16 year old around this season and he could be a real trump card for us. I'm not sure why the Czech Republic didn't use him in the Under 21 World Cup but he will definitely be a big part of his nation's progress for several years to come and could well emulate former Owlerton Owl Ales Fortes in becoming a genuine world class rider.
We are keeping an eye on several possibilities to complete our team but there are a lot of good riders around and I can assure the fans we'll have a very well balanced and strong 7 when the tapes go up."
So far then the side looks as below (exact starting order is obviously not known at the moment of course) with much rumour on the fans' forums as to who will complete the team...
1. Simon Stevens
2. Janek Bartousek
3. Arlo Evaristo
4. Lukasz Szymkowiak
