Glastonbury Gunners 2015/16
TM Andy would like to introduce the line up for the new SIM season, the club was grateful the NSSPA for letting us keep 4 riders from last year.
1 Greg Woodcroft
has been on duty for the Australian team during the test matches and the WTC. Last season Greg finished with 8.58 averages. Greg has been a solid performer since coming to the Gunners
2 Rhett Hodge
is another Australian who was called up for the Australian U21. He had a good year for a newcomer 4.75 average; he gave everything for the Gunners and is looking to repay the trust to improve on the Average
3 Boguslaw Kryznowek
Resigned from last season, he rode above and beyond for a first season rider at Glastonbury. He too was on Polish duty in the Test Matches; his nick name is “boggy”
4 Tony Clipstone
What a signing last year and as Tony is from Wales it was just a short trip for home meetings. Tony made a valuable contribution to the team and scored points when we needed them. We at Glastonbury have no doubts that Tony will increase his GSA
5 Pat Landis 9.27
It’s welcome to Pat,
This could be the buy of the year for the Gunners we have high hopes that Pat will be one of the riders who might help the Gunners to the UL next season. Pat comes from the Euro League the AMSTERDAM ANACONDAS and EURO DIVISION 2 WINNER and also rides for the North America team
6 Gavin Humberson 5.84
It’s welcome back to Glastonbury
For Gavin, it’s a return to where he learnt his speedway in 2009/10, Gavin has spent all his time in the DL and AL and this will be a big step up for him.
7 Colin Adlington 5.70
It’s welcome to Colin,
Colin comes from NZ, We see Colin not staying at reserve too long and looking at him getting into a second string place or heat leader place. He has ridden for a number of clubs, so has been around and knows what is what.
So there we have it & riders all are up for the coming season, it’s going to be one long hard road to bring the silverware to Shot Stadium,
