EL - 1147 Plowed into Plough Lane Stadium to peruse Wandsworth Rams take on the visiting Estuary Whales. The Rams ran out pretty comfortable winners and had the pick of the race winners, Estuary only managing to take the chequered flag on four occasions. Wandsworth number 6 had a fine meeting scoring 10+1 from 5 rides.
PL - 1406 barged through the turn-styles at the Blunsdon Arena to see The Blusdon Bombers beat Reading Rebels by 51-38. A highly competitive evening saw the sides locked at 36-36 after 12 heats, with the visiting Rebels scenting blood and a big away win. The home side had other ideas and went maximum crazy in the final three races with a 5-0, a 5-1 and a 5-1 to seal the win.
UL - 2246 waltzed into Wilkinson Field to witness home side Canvey Island Castaways beat the travelling Milton Keynes Cats 49-41. Canvey were solid throughout but notable performances from Jan Klecha with 13(5) and No.6 Jorges Alvarez 11 (5)
Away Wins
Teesside Transporters 44 Tilbury Dockers 45 - The Dockers bagged the points and the win as Teesside lost at home for a second successive meeting. The match see-sawed both ways and the Transporters were in the box seat at 43-40 after Heat 14, but were de-railed by an Eric Bjork, Jakub Majewski 1-5 in the final race to win it for the Dockers.
