Week 1
EL – 1089 landed at Leven Road as East London welcomed the Renegades to the new campaign. They will have been well pleased with a resounding 52-38 over the visiting Estuary Whales.
It was a good team effort from the hosts, whilst the Whales' resistance came mainly from Marko Mujanovich and Theo Craven who scored 26 of the visitor's haul.
PL – A whopping 1517 crammed into Camelot Arena to see the hosting Chantry Crusaders win 47 - 42 over the travelling Kings Lynn Lightning. The much fancied visiting Norfolk side pushed their hosts all the way and the hosts est was down to a solitary point after 13 heats, two Chantry 4-2's then tipped the meeting in the hosts favour. Brage Moller-Bech was in fine fettle for the hosts with 14 (5) whilst Lynn's No.7 Brian Broadbank was impressive.
UL – 2456 Braved the Bullet Arena to see Bottesford Bullets beat the visiting Hull Vikings in a cracking Humber Derby. There were SEVEN 5-1's in a see-saw meeting but back to back maximums for the home side in Heats 9 & 10 swung it for the North Lincs team, for whom, Petr Marko was imperious with his five ride maximum.
AWAYS

Blunsden Bombers 44 Tilbury Dockers 46 - The Dockers bagged the spoils and were led by Erik Bjork, who really impressed for his side, though he was supported in depth by his team mates, with all contribuing to the win.
Wantage Kings 43 Canvey Island Castaways 47 - The Kings will be licking their wounds after the visitors claimed the points on the road, having 6 out of the 7 riders winning a race - Steve will be happy
