Week 124
EL – 1049 landed at Leven Road to witness East London Renegades beat their visitors from Richmond 49-40 putting a dent in the Cheetahs title ambitions in the process. 6 of the 7 home riders won a Heat and their strength in depth proved too much for the Cheetahs, who's resistance came, chiefly, from their number one, Ryan Roy. Richmond's haul though did see them claim the important bonus point, which may prove all important in the run in.
1049 - Also delivered themselves to the Dragon's Lair, where it was top v bottom. The gulf in league points was not so evident though, as Denham narrowly beat their visitors from Aldershot 47-43 to grant the Southerners something of a morale win, though the wooden spoon still beckons for the Apaches, unless they can show a sharp upturn in form.
