Right managers now the mad transfer window is over it is time to mention that this season's Juvenile Jaunt is nearly upon us. Please take a few moments to read the rules and see what you can do to help your young rider throughout the season.
One of the main changes is that this season you can send your rider for training sessions with the NSSPA coaches twice during the season and this is totally at your discretion. So maybe you will want to send him twice at the start of the season or once at the start and then once half way through or you may want to see how he gets on in the first couple of rounds before sending him.........the permutations are endless!! Send me a PM or email to say he would like a coaching session or two and I will message you back with how he got on and how much of a boost to his racing average he will receive. Be aware that averages change after round 5 to whatever average he has attained at that stage. One rider has already been for his first session and received a 0.56 boost to his racing average.
You can also help them with posts on your threads, the JJ thread or on your websites (I do look at them too), saying how they got on in the JJ round or how they are working with your team's coach. This helps their confidence and, after all, they are your assets and the future of your club.
Of course there are some riders who, no matter what you do, won't quite make the grade and others who have no input from their managers who do manage to make it. So really it is up to you how much you help them.
I hope you enjoy watching the progress of your young rider throughout the season and look forward to receiving your coaching messages.
Just one last thing. I am away this weekend so if you send a message for your rider to have some coaching I will get back to you as early as I can next week.
