Mark Easter............... 2 2 1* 3 - 8+1 6. Ray Morgan................ 0 1 0 - - 1 7. Aaron Barber.............. 1 1 1* - - 3+1
The damage was done in the first 6 heats by then the side was 20 points adrift. Coach Edwards rallied the lads and kept talking and guided them to 6 shared heats in the last 7 races. On the night we only manged to win 2 races from Gareth and Mark.
Coach Edwards said the lads know how to ride and win just look at previous seasons results, is it the lads have stalled or not improving and others are now overtaking them. We need to get them back to the west coast arena and review all aspects from the season so far to enable the lads to get back on track literally.

The Aberavon Diamonds this season have a familiar look again with minimum changes. The line up is:
J. Keegan R. Morgan K. Whitlock G. Coombes M. Easter A. Barber M. Lewis
Whitlock and Lewis have come in for the departure of Bywater and Lyons.
It has been a steady season with the youngsters improving. We have to mention our new number 1 Joe Keenan who has done really well and topped the Group 2 overall averages for quite a few week. Kenny Whitlock also has improved and is second in the Diamonds averages the newcomer has really settled in well.
With 3 meetings left the Diamonds will be looking to gain a quarter final slot. Currently they have won 4 drawn 1 and lost 4.
