Ray France had a steady start to this season's GP series in the North American GP. 11 points was a solid return for round 1 with a long way to go in the series.
Ray reflected on his performance saying "I was gutted to go out in the semis. I made a poor gate and just couldn't generate the speed to pass Jacek (Klecha). Double figures to start with isn't bad and if I can keep making semis that will always give me a shot at reaching the finals. Congratulations to my old team mate Petr (Marko) on his win but I intend to be in top spot next time buddy!"

Great night for Kenni Algreen riding as a wild card in the GP in his home Country Denmark. Kenni gave the home crowd something to cheer as he reach the final, real class, well done Kenni. He just missed out last year to qualify automatically as he for most of the season he didn't have a club side till Aberavon signed him which did effect his performance, it was very noticeable in how his scores improved once he was riding regularly.

Petr still not hitting the groove but there or thereabouts - He feels the season, by his high standards, hasn't really got going yet. A few tweaks here and there with his team and he feels the blue touch paper will be lit !
He and his team are working hard in the GP and UL arena.

Gems riders did well in GP qualifying with Kenni Algreen storming to a faultless 15 point maximum in winning the Scandinavian title.
Alekander Jelen finished runner up in the European final missing out on top spot by one point.
Well done lads both real stars and a credit to the club.

Petr Marko (Bottesford) finally returned another GP win in some style - his 18 point haul also put him at the head of the points tally for the time being.
Petr marked his 3rd GP first place of the season though the competition remains strong at the pinnacle, he will do all he can to stay in the hunt for a maiden World Senior title.
Plenty of racing left yet though !!!

Ray France was gutted after an engine failure forced him to retire in the final if the GB Grand Prix. However he still finished as top scorer in the meeting and sits joint second in the standings just 1 point behind leader Petr Marko.
With 2 rounds to go that first world title is very much there for the taking and it should be a compelling battle between Ray, Marko and Fillippe Chong to see who gets there hands on the trophy.

Ray France was buzzing after a superb performance in the Swedish GP left him 9 points clear with one round to go. He was determined to make up for his disappointment at retiring in the final of the British GP......and boy how he did! Top scorer at the end of the 20 heats before settling for a safe second place in his semi-final. Jacek Klecha beat him out of the gate in the Final but Ray flew past him down the back straight and raced away for the win.
This capped off an excellent week for him after scoring a fine maximum in Lynn's win over Necrons. Onto the final GP in Poland and one more solid round will give him his first World Championship.

Marko hoping to return soon to pick up his title challenge. After a bright start to the GP series, Marko picked up an untimely injury, he is hoping that he returns soon before he slips out of the running.
