Very good start to our pre season with two meetings against the Spitfires. The home meeting went very well and I was impressed with our three heat leaders who all got big points, we struggled in that department last season so it was good to see them dialled in already. Our Polish reserve Zielinski looked very quick and took a well earned 7+1. We lost the return meeting but again was very pleased to see how the team did and if we didn't pick up and injury to Zielinski could have well come away with a draw but well done to Sean Russell who got 7. Everybody chipped in and it was good to see the atmosphere in the pits in both meetings. All in all a good start to pre season.

Disappointing results for us in week 2 losing both home and away meetings. Some good performances from our heat leaders especially our number 1 Akumbaev who really looks like he is going to be a star rider this season, Williamson and Witoszek also look very quick so I am happy about that. Our reserves and our skipper Parrington struggled in both meetings with a few different things but hopefully these will be out right for next weeks pre season meeting. These are not about the results we just want to make sure all the lads are dialled in and ready for the serious stuff.

The boys were on fire in both the home and away meetings led by our number 1 Akumbaev who dropped just a single point in both meetings which saw us win both home and away. Every single rider chipped in over the both legs and we are confident going into the season that we have a team that can compete for all honours this season. All the new boys have settled in well and we are ready to start the serious stuff. Hope the fans have liked what they have seen and turn out in numbers for our first home meeting of the season.
