PS meeting 1 Home
The meeting took place in perfect conditions for racing,
The bombers brought with them former world Champion Carl Hooper for his first visit to Shot stadium.
The Gunners new boys did very well first time out, some good riding from both teams, Heat 7 saw Woodcroft and Adlington team riding to score a 5-1.
Heat 10 saw Pat Landis come to a stop while in second place so a 5-1 turned into a 3-3, Heat 15 saw an unusual heat result a 2-3 with Krzynowek being excluded after falling. So 50-39 score line at the end but it could have been much higher.
It was noted that the Bombers never had a 5-1 heat win, someing to look for during the season.
PS 2 Away
Taking a 11pt advantage to Blunsdon Arena, The bombers look a little lost on their track apart from Hooper and Blanc who accounted for 25 pts of the 46 scored.
Heat 12 saw Adlington excluded for falling when he was in third place before Bonacci retired with engine failure.
Heat 13 saw the race of the night when Woodcroft beat Hooper by a bike’s length,
To go down by 3 points was no disgrace and away from home, On this showing SIM speedway just may have bought on some riders who might be a force in the coming SIM season
