Tunstall suffered a narrow 2 point aggregate defeat against last seasons UL champions, the Aberavon Gems, in the second round of pre-season fixtures.
"Once again, for me it was about getting rid of the cobwebs, making sure our fitness is where we want it to be, and making sure we are mechanically ready, heading into the final week of pre-season.
Everyone has been a bit up and down over the fixtures, but that is to be expected, with riders trying out set ups and getting new bike parts integrated into their kit, as they look to be ready. Olle, for example, scored 9 at Aberavon, but only 2 at home. I know he isn't going to be scoring 2 at home every week, so I don't worry about him.
I do like to look to the positives, however, and I want to say how pleased I am with how Boris is progressing. Every week he looks quicker, and you can see the effort he is putting into making sure he is on the pace. He is at the track all week practicing, and it is refreshing to see a rider so determined to be the best that he can be. Winning heat 2 away from home is fantastic, and if he scores 4 a meeting all season, I will be delighted"
