1. Lloyd Rees................ 1* 2* 3 3 - 9+2 2. Luke Cooper............... 2 3 2 2* - 9+1 3. Janis Sprukts............. 2 0 0 1 - 3 4. Peter Rees................ 2* 3 3 2* - 10+2 5. The newly formed Hornets continued there good start by recording a win in there first home meeting beating Tweedside 50-28 again it was a solid performance from everyone in week 2
Week 3 we travelled to the Scouts of Wolston and came away with a point in a thrilling 39-39 draw as in the previous meetings all the lads contributed, Coach Finch has been impressed with how the lads have adapted to league format racing and the need to bond as a team.

WOW what a first season (and unfortunately last) due to Sim Speedway closing in Great Britain. The Glynogwr Juniors won the grand final by winning both the home and the away legs against Necron.
GLYNOGWR HORNETS 40 1. Glyn Donovan.............. 2 3 F 0 - 5 2. Janis Sprukts............. 1* 0 3 2 - 6+1 3. Luke Cooper............... 3 3 3 3 - 12 4. Peter Rees................ 1 0 1* 2 - 4+1 5. Lloyd Rees................ 3 1 2 0 - 6 6. Carl Hampton.............. 3 0 2* - - 5+1 7. Jack Wilson............... 0 2* 0 - - 2+1
They won the home leg by only two points and Necron must have been quietly happy with the result hoping to turnaround the two points.
But the Hornets had other ideas, praise also must go to our coach who has steered the lads all season. The away leg the Hornets won by 8 points
GLYNOGWR HORNETS 43 (83) 1. Glyn Donovan.............. 3 3 2 0 - 8 2. Janis Sprukts............. 0 1 3 1* - 5+1 3. Luke Cooper............... 2 3 3 1 - 9 4. Peter Rees................ 1 1 1* 1 - 4+1 5. Lloyd Rees................ 3 3 2 0 - 8 6. Carl Hampton.............. 3 1 1 - - 5 7. Jack Wilson............... 2* 1* 1 - - 4+2
CONGRATULATIONS to Glynogwr Hornets and the management, the team and the trophy will be at a supporters evening after the senior last meeting.
