the Castaways are Back
Although it is not the way i would have wanted to return to the Ultimate league it's good to Have the Castaways back there and Wilkinson Field was buzzing as Canvey Island welcomed Aberavon to the Field a good solid all round performance see us come out winners by 48-42 with every riders getting at least a paid win.
NO.1 Louis Joosens = 6 Not a great start by one of the best riders in the world but i'm sure that this is a minor blip in his season
NO.2 Noah Nicholson = 11+2 This was class could not ask for anything more and rewarded with the rider of the night outstanding stuff
NO.3 Rhodri Szczygiel = 5+1 Not a great return from Canvey's favourite son but i'm sure better things are to come but i will not beat around the bush i and the fans want a lot more so will get someone to give his bikes the once over.
NO.4 Shaun Brooks = 7 Shaun did ok was an ok performance but a classy win in heat 14 looks like he could have a good season.
NO.5 Jacek Klecha = 11+1 Good to have Jacek back at the club with many fans excited to see him back in the black and white scorched round for three impressive wins although he could not better the fast starting Ritchie Sampson in his last two rides but then again he was a great adversary and a thorn in our side.
NO.6 Wieslaw Bosko = 2+1 started off well with paid win but then faded need a lot more form Wieslaw and we all know at Canvey he is better then this poor score.
NO.7 David Jenner = 6 another rider he was ok but again need a lot more from him but at 19 i'm sure there is a lot more to come.
All in all like i said was well please to start the season with a win with i am sure many exciting meetings ahead and lastly i would like to say a massive well done to Shaun Brooks helping England's under 21's to a fine win in the world championships it's always good to have fine British riders at Canvey island and yet again a great Advert for the Junior League.
