Here is a thread where anyone who has been involved in Sim Speedway can make comments on the end of time together.
Yes it is a sad time for us all, emotional too, we have made many long term aquaintances and it has been a thoroughly enjoyable time.
So if you have anything to add comment below.

I cannot thank the powers that be enough for all their time, effort and support throughout. It has been a superb experience to be a part of sim. To all the team promoters too my thanks for your friendly support and co operation in making the season's something to enjoy and look forward to. I wish everyone well. So sad it is ending.

SO SAD Yes it looks like the end for this great sim which I have enjoyed being part of always looking forward to the results on Thursdays and then the bitter disappointment of losing again LOL. big thank you to of course Fred Taylor, Robert Elliot and Rob Golsby hope you all have long and happy health free lives after all your Problems the three of you have had. And to all my fellow promotors for making this sim what it is I will really miss this. and of course If anyone does continue with this or something similar please get in touch as I would love to be part of it. Do not wish to be unsociable but will not join any group as I would find it upsetting talking about something that is no longer there so I will do what the cowboys did in the old westerns and ride off into the sunset. Canvey Island Castaways the Coolest East London renegades forever ADIOS.

What can you say "it's been great with you all and I will miss you all and the Speedway".
Personally I have enjoyed all the years being involved with sim speedway and getting to know you all, mainly by txt or email mostly but nevertheless it seems a friendship as we all year after year kept renewing and it developed into a sound club with others joining along the journey and becoming part of the sim club.
The Welsh Quarter will miss all of you and thank you to the governing body for keeping us enjoying sim year after.

So long and thanks for all the speedway meetings. Sad to see it end. Will miss this forum, even though I wasn't a regular contributor, and my adopted Cumbrian Logheads. I won't miss losing to John and his team on the wrong end of the M4, they were our bogey team.

Shame we have come to the end of Sim but it has been a pleasure playing the game and getting to know you even if only through messages. I have enjoyed running the junior section the past few years. Hope to keep in touch via the WhatsApp group.
