Going into this week's KOC tie against frequent foes Wednesfield, The Cats find themselves in the unusual position of having failed to muster a home win in two attempts, hosting Canvey Island and Glastonbury. While perhaps a little nonplussed, cats boss Sean Wood wasn't especially concerned "Let's be honest, the riders are just preparing, they're testing bikes, our top 2 have either never ridden here or haven't in years, these meetings are always about getting rid of the cobwebs rather than the actual scores and results"
"That said there are things to build on, Dragan picked up paid 7 in his first meeting. The only concerns are only winning 5 races at home to Canvey, and only 4 away, but we move on."
"Against Glastonbury once again at home we didn't win enough races, but then we went round their place and stormed it, picking up the win by 10 and the aggregate win. Rado only dropped a point and was flying, Borek packed in crucially in his last 2, Buck and Stefan were a superb pairing, Josef got a valuable return and Steve was flying with 2 race wins on his way to paid 8 from 4."
"Next though it's Wednesfield, and it's serious. We need to lay a marker and we need to show them we're better. We need to show everyone the Cats are not to be messed with and we are going to be in the mix this season. So i'd urge the Cats fans to get down to one of the best Stadiums in the country and give the cats a roar."

So THAT's why Rado seemed so distraught at the World Cup. He had signed for your mob.
I suppose even the worst of teams need a shining beacon of hope.
