The high flying Charlemont Chargers are next in town for the Bottesford Bullets in the last of the challenge matches before the league campaign starts. Team Captain Mike Cartwright is looking forward to the next challenge after a relatively bright start for the Bullets. "We have to be pleased with the early couple of matches, we are building a good rapport off the track and starting to build some momentum on it too". Cartwright was quick to realise the dangers of peaking to soon as well as acknowledging the superb start the Chargers have made to their own sesson, "Charlemont are a formidable opponent, particularly on their own track so far, they track as good as a top 5 as anyone in this league and they posess a real trump card in Neil Johnston, who has a tall average and an array of experience". Whilst the Chargers have a solid top five, early signs also suggest their reserves could hold the key in the search for silverware. Cartwright added, "Reserves, in any team, really can be the key to the campaign, I honestly believe our own two, Luke and Lewie can take us on, I also see benefits in the reserves changing a little during the season, as riders drop in and out of form. Many a team have had riders moving into the main body and allowing the second string a break and to find some form. I'm looking forward to a tough challenge and the Chargers are perhaps the form team, bring them on I say. It looks to be a cracker of a challenge match this one." With a decent crowd projected be sure to get to the Arena nice and early !
