On the eve of their first league meeting of the season, Bottesford are eagerly awaiting the tapes up. Bullets team manager, Paul Duff, was relishing the prospects of his team's League debut.
"We probably have our toughest away fixture of the season to start us off, Charlemont have been in impressive form so far and many tip them for the AL title this term. They have a solid line up with depth of scoring."
Despite that Duff remained hugely optimistic about his own side's chances of silverware this term. " We have had a more than decent start with all seven of the lads getting amongst the points in the Challenges, I think we are labelled as Dark Horses and I reckon we could live up to that billing and have a good season. Admittedly it's a tough away start but we have the ammunition to take it to the Chargers on their own patch, Zoltan had a gremlin or two in his last couple of meetings but has sorted those out so I'm sure he'll lead us well, whikst Martin Greer can win races on any track. Add our own strength in depth, and three hugely talented youngsters at 2, 6 & 7, the future looks bright. The result tomorrow won't decide the league title, but I'm sure these boys can put on a good show and are capable of causing an early upset and lay down a marker, I'm really looking forward to the meeting"!

Gave us a right fright. Heat 15 decider you could have knicked a draw and then we get the final 2 right in heat 15 and then we win by 8.
Looking forward to the away fixture. Good luck for season
