"I'm appalled at their actions"
Terriors boss Steve Donaldson seemed to be fuming after getting off the phone with Falmouth.
"When Steve called me after week 7, they were in disarray. Sitting 8th in the league, and with no real chance of doing anything, they asked me for advice. I told them that we had Craig sitting on the sidelines, chomping at the bit to get a ride. I waived the loan fee, on the basis that he worked with their coach to get used to the track. We did everything to facilitate the move, even letting Craig use our mechanics to make sure his kit was in top shape for the move down. Frankly, he has been fantastic for them. They are up to 6th in the league and have made the KoC final, and how do they thank Craig?
They contact me to say that they want to drop him. I've been nothing but helpful with them, but now I feel like a fool. They've messed around Craig, and they've messed around me. I won't forget this"
To all the other AL teams, subject to contracts going through, Craig will be looking for a new team. I am happy to send him on a free loan, because he has more than proven that he is capable of being a fantastic team member. I just want this talented rider to not be sat on the sidelines"

Speaking to TruroFM last night, Falcons manager Stephen Gardner was rather dismissive on the Terriers recent outburst.
"I literally spat my coffee out when I saw the press release earlier today. This news not only ruined my day but also my new shirt ...
It has forced our hand a little since we'd not actually made the change at this point, having been asking advice from other managers before completing the transfer. We'd appreciate next time a little confidentially before we officially make our team changes. Not sure about our side being in disarray, since we've been very solid since losing the opening home match of the season, though we're more interested in what our own supporters think truth be told.
At the end of the day with a KO cup final and hopeful promotion push I'm doing what I think is best for the team. The Terriors can have an opinion on this but to publically comment on them is rather unprofessional.
It's a shame Craig is the one to suffer, having done fantastically well since joining us. We tried to secure a permanent deal but could not come to an agreement. We've been hearing fantastic reports on a rider in the Euro leagues that we could not ignore. I'd be very interested in having Craig back next year and hopefully he's appreciated the coaching and rides we've given him, having been completely out of racing for the best part of a season. Clearly he's got fantastic potential and hopefully another club will now pick him up."
