Week 1
What a fantastic start from the lads as we had a dominating 56 - 34 victory over the Sheffield Dons. We was led from the front from our number 1 Akumbaev who got a faultless 15 point maximum on his home debut, this kid has the potential to be the top rider in this league. He was backed up brilliantly by our other new signings and heat leaders Williamson who got 12+2 and Witoszek with 7+2. Our new reserve Zielinski also chipped in with a very impressive 9+2. Credit must also go to our captain Parrington who struggled in pre season but after working hard on his equipment and getting in some practice in at the raceway ended up with 6+3. This was a very good performance and we now look to our first away meeting next. We struggled on the road last season but i really believe this team can go anywhere and get a result.

Well I tipped your for the Pairs and 4s but looking at this result I wish I could go back and predict you to win the lot!
If you're not a potential title winning side then it's going to be a long, long season for us anyway!

Cheers mate, tried to learn from my mistakes last season with team building so hope I've got it right this season.

Week 2
This week saw us take on the Newmarket Raiders which we lost 48-41. Our three heat leaders led by our superb number 1 Akumbaev who got another 16 points really kept us in the match, Williamson got 9+2 and our pole Witoszek ended up with 8+1. The other four riders only got 8 points between them and this is why we missed out on either a draw or maybe even a win. Still very early days yet and some are just getting used to their new equipment.

Week 3
Another fantastic and dominating home display as we beat the Estuary Whales 53-37. This was a real team effort as every rider chipped in with some good points. Another top night for our heat leaders with the superb Akumbaev getting 12+1, Williamson also getting the same and the young pole Witoszek getting 7. Our middle order also got 9+5 between them which was a good effort. Russell at reserve continued his good start with another 4+1 but the star of the night in my eyes was our other reserve Zielinski who got a very impressive 9+1. The lads are really dialled in at the raceway I just hope they can take this form on the road. I would like to say a big thank you to all the fans who turned up, it was a big crowd and we all appreciate it especially the riders.

Week 5
Another close meeting against the Rye Racers but as in the cup meeting it was Rye coming out on top this time by 47-43. Again our top class number 1 Akumbaev was different class grabbing 16+1 and was backed up by our other two heat leaders. The form of both Buljat and Parrington is a concern however and it's something we are looking at as they are costing us points at the minute and rarely getting their average. They will both be given a few more meetings to try and sort their form out but have both been told if they don't then changed may have to be made, we can't afford any passengers this season.

Week 6
Very disappointing result for us as we only managed a home draw 45-45 against the spitfires. Not happy with dropping points at home and I have made this perfectly clear to all the boys. Also we lost our skipper Parrington to a broken arm and we are in discussions with another rider as we speak. There are a couple of the riders who are really struggling and they must up their game or another change may be made.

Week 7
At long last!!! It's taken a season and 7 weeks but finally the Tilbury Dockers have recorded an away win!!! It's been a long time coming but a well deserved victory and Iam proud of the team. Once again led by our fantastic number 1 and new skipper Akumbaev and he was backed up well by our New Zealand sensation Williamson. Another top performance from our young pole at reserve Zielinski who now moves up in to the main body of the team replacing Buljat who has had a disappointing start to the season, hopefully a spell at reserve for him will see him get amongst the points and get his confidence back. Lastly delighted to see Mungall back in Tilbury kevlars and he chipped in with a decent 5 points. There will be no changes to our team just a new riding order, I have faith that these boys can do the business.

Week 8
A good solid start from the team in their new riding positions as we beat the Falcons 49-40. Led by our three heat leaders once again who all looked very impressive plus some good solid back up from Jenko Buljat who has moved down to reserve, hopefully this move will see him get his confidence and pick up the form we know he can produce, he really could be our trump card over the coming weeks. A good start from Zielinski in the difficult number two position with a sold 5+1. Our attention now turns to the 4TT and if the boys ride as we know they can we could well come out winners.

Week 10
Disappointing performance really in a meeting i really thought we could grab something. We really need better performances from our middle order and reserves if we are going to carry on our decent start to the season. On to week 11 and I expect the boys to be fired up for it.

Week 11
Superb performance from all the boys after last weeks disappointing result. Our number one Akumbaev again as usual leading from the the front with 14 points backed up superbly by Williamson with 12. Another good performance from Zielinski in the difficult number two position with 6+1, our reserve Buljat also is starting to get some form back with a very good 7+1 hopefully he can take this into next week away. Iam looking for a much better performance next week and hopefully we can look to get the win and the bonus point.

Week 12
Another disappointing loss on the road going down 50-40 to the Dons but we managed to pick up the bonus point so it wasn't all bad. Our number 1 Akumbaev had an off night by his standards managing only 11 but that being his worst meeting shows how good he's been for this club so far. It was good to see Parrington back in the saddle and he did well, he faded towards the end but that was to be expected after a long injury. We really need to start performing better on the road if we want to mount a challenge for the league.

Week 14
A close meeting against top of the table Newmarket in front of a big crowd saw us come out on top 47-43 but we lost out on the bonus point. Akumbaev was back on top form with good support from Williamson and the two reserves. If we want to have a serious go at the title we really need our second string to start getting among the points.

Week 15
Very annoyed and angry about losing 46-44 in a meeting we really thought we could pick up the win, it didn't help with Parrington and Buljat having seven rides between them and failing to pick up a single point. The heat leaders did their job but again we have been let down by a couple of terrible performances. With the new changes coming in it will see Parrington drop to reserve which after his injury will hopefully see him pick up his form. We will take a good look at the transfer market to see if we can do anything as Iam getting a bit pissed the same riders failing to perform.

Week 16
Fantastic performance against a team who were flying high in the Rye Racers, a very impressive 51-39 victory. Again leading from the front was our number 1 Akumbaev who got a faultless 15 point max. He had good back up from Williamson with 12+2 and Witzosek who got 10. Was also good to see Parrington get 6 points and hopefully a spell at reserve will do him good. Our new signing Snow started with 3+1 but it was his first meeting and we expect him to start getting the bigger scores soon. Next week we face a difficult away meeting against the table toppers but we our going there in high spirits and hope to at least get the bonus point.
