WEEK !
Much to the delight of their travelling fans Maidstone pulled out all the stops to record a fantastic away win at Southside! The Knights were never headed in the meeting . In particular Chris Mullarkey and Viv Thompson were in fine form. But the stand out performance of the evening must go to reserve Jesse De Vaux with 7 paid 10 from his 5 outings.
A bumper crowd is expected for the Knights first Home league meeting of the season against local rivals Iwade, who came so close to knocking them out of the cup last week.

WEEKM 2
The Knights find themselves at the top of the table after another tussle with their local rivals, Iwade at the Medway Arena. They were never behind in the meeting and had a comfortable 10 point lead by Heat 8. However, the Spitfires stayed in contention thanks to 2 inspired Tactical Substitutions in Heats 9 & 11. Maidstone always had enough in hand to secure the points especially with Chris Mullarkey in Maximum mode and Viv Thompson putting in another fine performance. For Iwade, Milan Stajner worked hard all night for his 13 points from 6 rides.

WEEK 3
The Knights didn't stay at the top of the table long after this 14 point drubbing at the hands of the Falcons which bought about Maidstone's first League loss of the season. The signs were on the wall as early as the first 3 heats as the visitors found themselves 6 points in arrears. from that point on the Knights never really got into it as Falmoth ran out comfortable winners in the end.
This was a strong overall team performance from the Falcons aided by Richie Rawlinson who was in sublime form. As for the Knights they relied to heavily on their top two of Chris Mullarkey and Viv Thompson.

WEEK 4
Maidstone revenged their Home Cup defeat by the Bengals with a 6 point win in this League clash. However, it wasn't as easy as it may seem Bletchley snatched a 4-2in Heat 2 and they kept this advantage until Heat 6. However, Heat 7 saw Puttman and Van Maurik race to a 5-1 for the Home side which got their noses in front. Indeed, the gap had grown to 4 points after 10 heats. The Bengals then struck back with their own maximum in Heat 11 to leave the meeting all square.
The Knights finally got the better of their visitors with a 4-2, 5-1 blast in Heats 13 & 14. Viv Thompson produced a superb paid maximum for Maidstone and Bletchley's tpp pairing of Gudersson and Jensen also outstanding.
