London Jets came from 8 points down with 5 heats remaining to snatch an unlikely draw at Burslem, ending the meeting 45-45 and an away point to boot. Heroes of the meeting were number 1 Scott Allen, who scored 17 paid 18, a full house of 6 unbeaten rides, and Captain Tom Hennesy who chipped in with 13 paid 16 from 6 rides. 5-1's in heats 11, 13 and 15 from Allen and Hennesy gave the Jets a point and Manager Alan Baylee was gobsmacked how the meeting swung one way then the other. He said, "that was amazing. I know the credit will go to Scott and Tom, but all the points gained have contributed to the draw and a point, which maintains our unbeaten start to the season. The lads need to bottle that feeling and take it with them to Rowley Raptors who won their first home meeting.......we shall go with confidence and look to carry o our fine efforts."
