Wantage speedway are proud to welcome the JJ Midlands riders to the Ridgeway for the final round before the inaugural GP series.
With everything to ride for it promises to be an exciting finale, not least because home rider John Stroud is in with a shout of the Midlands title. Below is a rundown of he riders in the frame for qualification:
Ray France Kings Lynn 2nd 105pts 2 wins, 6 podiums total 14 yo whizz kid who isn't quite riding to the same level as earlier in the season but sure to be in the mix, both here and for overall Gp honours
John Stroud Wantage 2nd 105 1 win, 7 podiums Mr consistency. Double figures in every round, and 5 podiums in a row is hoping the home crowd can propel him to another victory
Davie Langfield Ipswich 4th 103 3 wins, 5 podiums 1 of the Midlands top 3 who have dominated, will undoubtedly be challenging again
Lewie Carr unattached 7th 94 1 win, 3 podiums Unattached rider who has come on in leaps and bounds and guaranteed Gp qualifier
Chris Holmes Chantry 15th 86 1 win, 2 podiums Fallen away slightly and hanging onto a final place. Needs a solid score
Lloyd Byford Bletchley 18th 82 1 podium Needs a big performance.
Dmitrij O'Shea Tunstall 19th 80 1 win, 2 podiums 1st round winner made the podium last time out and probably needs to again to stand any chance.
The rest of the field will be looking to end the season on a high, and it certainly makes for a great finish to the JJ series.

Congratulations to Lewie Carr winning his second JJ event at the Ridgeway Raceway. He caps off an excellent season.
Congratulations also to John Stroud, a superb representative for Wantage this season who finished joint top of the midlands along with Ray France and Davie Langfield. Stroud has been magnificent, improving in leaps and bounds and has really impressed the Wantage management. He now has his sights set on overall glory.
Finally congratulations also to Chris Holmes on also making the cut and commiserations to Dimitrij O Shea who just misses out despite a rostrum place.
