Bottesford asset Darcy Broad has started in fine form in his debut season in the JJ.
Darcy has been in the thick of the action in the first three rounds and is really taking to racing. A product of the Bottesford Youth training set up, Broad was keen to thank current Bullets' Team Captain Mike Cartwight for his support in the pits at the JJ meetings. "Carts is a real team player and his experience and knowledge has been a godsend so far. I have learnt so much from him in a short space of time and I'm picking his brains constantly for info"
Broad currently sits 5th in the standings, and has been competitive in all three rounds so far. Mike Cartwright was full of praise for Darcy "He's a bright boy with a bright future, he has real bike craft and is eager to learn. I have been in his pit corner offering advice and Darcy soaks it all up, he is a born racer and a quick learner. There's no reason why he can't go on and win this, really he is good enough and is always on the pace. His youth belies his ability and is wise beyond his years. He is a real prospect and can go far if he continues in his application, he loves to be on a bike and can sure as hell ride it"
