After making it through to the semi finals of the KoC, Burslem went back to league action against Rowley, and an all around team performance saw them demolish Rowley by 18 points.
"I told you, this team has potential, and once they hit their stride, teams need to look out" said team manager Mike Auffret.
"Bradley Foster has the potential to be the top rider in the league, and he was untouchable, but all 3 of our heat leaders were paid for double figures, along with Scott Calder. To be honest, it's hard to fault anyone. I know Steve is struggling with his set ups, but we will stick by him and do what we can to help him. He will be spending some time at the track this week, in order to let him work on his bikes."
When asked about what the season could hold for his team, Auffret was in a cagey mood.
"Honestly, I like this team. I feel I have built a strong team, but no-one knows what happens after the averages change. One change for any team could take them from bottom to top, and if that is us, then so be it!"
