Break weeks are a time when teams panic about the last portion of the season, make stupid decisions, and potentially ruin their season.
For Tunstall, it is a time to take stock of where we are, and make sure we are in the correct mindset for the last 6 weeks.
We got on track this week, to make sure that no cobwebs set in, and I have to say, I was delighted with what I saw. The team spirit is fantastic, and everyone looked quick. Since we made the changes at mid season, we have been one of the better teams in the league, and I want us to have a real go in the last 6 weeks. In reality, the league is probably out of the question, unless we went on a fantastic run, and while we are more than capable of it, my first job is to make sure we keep looking up the table, rather than over our shoulders.
I do want to make a quick mention of Ryan Irwin and Enzo Innocone. Ryan has bags of experience, and has taken young Enzo under his wing, and it has been a joy to watch. Enzo has as much raw talent as any rider I have seen, but it is the little things that help you to succeed in this league, whether that is the correct set up's, or small tweaks to technique to ensure you are at the top of your game. Enzo is coming on leaps and bounds with Ryan mentoring him, and I am excited to see how he goes now that he has dropped down to reserve.
