There have been more leaders of the Academy league then Chelsea have points this season! This week its Westwood's turn at the top with a 6 point win over Rowley.
Rowley started the slightly better of the two teams and after an exchange of 4-2s in the first 3 heats they lead by 2 points. However , by the end of Heat 7 the Wizards led by8 points and despite several tactical substitutions by the visitors they could never get back on terms.
After a pointless first ride Westwood's Glen Harmison rattles off 4 heat wins and he was will supported y Johnny Calder, who seemed to ride in a much freer style now that he has lost the Number 1 mantel. On the other hand Rowley's Riku Uljas revelled in his new Number 1 Race Jacket and was well supported by the Raptors other 2 Heat Leaders, Gary Turner & Peter Taylor.
Get ready for another change at the top next turn as Westwood have a difficult visit to the capital to face the London Jets.
