Having had to take an unplanned break Its good to be back. Massive thanks to Fred for stepping in and keeping the Kings going. I'm surprised he hasn't asked for a swap judging by how the Whales are doing this season!
Under Fred's guidance we have settled into mid table and improved performances of late give us optimism for the 2nd half of the season.
Individually each rider has had their mix of ups and downs:
Jonus Sandin Not quite hit his own high standards, either for the Kings or individually. An improved performance in the last Gp has seen him moving up the rankings and there are signs he's getting back to his best
Fillippe Chong A revelation. After a slow start he's truning into a top UL rider. He's had his first taste of GP action, where he wasnt disgraced. Also crowned Australasian champion
Lennart Levin Struggling a bit to find consistency. There's definietely a top rider in there, and all it will take is 1 good meeting to get his confidence back. Still in the GP qualification hunt after finnishing runner up in the Scandinavian championships
Joe Finch Solid if unspectacular. His first UL season he is doing everything that is expected of him
Jason Isaacs Magnificent. Almost doubled his average Jason has come on in leaps and bounds and riding as a solid middle order rider. Also still in the GP qualification hunt the onloan vampire has proved a vital rider this season
Lars Meldgaard Captain Lars struggled early on but a spell at reserve has reinvigorated him and hes now banging in the points
Lahti Rytenen Settled in well and weighed in with some useful points but still finding the UL a tough place to ride
Brian Broadbank in the JJ has been brilliant. An event victory has backed up a solid season.
elsewhere Loanees Matt Le Saux, Scott Salkeld, John Stroud and Jamie Airey are all performing at least up to their averages if not beyond.
Now for the Kings to push on in the 2nd half of the season!
